Now the whole country is vigorously promoting waterborne industrial paint, so, what is the performance of waterborne industrial paint? Can it replace traditional oil-based industrial paints?
1. Environmental protection. Water-based paint is widely recommended because it uses water as a solvent, which can effectively reduce VOC emissions, and is also healthy and green, and will not cause harm to the environment and human body.
2. The coating tool of water-based paint is easy to clean and can save a lot of water and cleaning agent.
3. It has good supporting performance, and can be matched with all solvent-based coatings and covered.
4. The paint film density is high and easy to repair.
5. Strong adaptability, can be sprayed directly in any environment, and the adhesion is relatively superior.
6. Good filling, not easy to burn, high paint adhesion.
Waterborne industrial paint has its own requirements for the environment during construction, mainly including:
1. Before painting, remove the oil, rust, old patent leather and other dirt on the surface of the substrate to ensure the cleanliness and drying of the surface of the substrate.
2. The grinding wheel is ground to remove welds, splashes, and hardening layers on the surface of the workpiece. All free edge sharp angles after gas cutting, shearing or machining should be ground to R2.
3. Sand blasting to Sa2.5 level or power tool cleaning to St2 level, construction within 6 hours after sandblasting.
4. It can be applied by brushing and spraying, and the paint should be stirred evenly before painting. If the viscosity is high, an appropriate amount of deionized water can be added, the amount of water added should not exceed 10%, and it should be stirred while adding to ensure that the paint liquid is uniform.
5. Maintain good ventilation during construction, and it is not recommended to construct when the ambient temperature is lower than 5 °C or the humidity is greater than 85%.
6. Rain, snow and fog weather can not be constructed outdoors, if it has been constructed, you can take methods such as covering with tarpaulin to protect the paint film.
